Projects
Medical
Medical office building design, when done correctly, not only results in value for the owner but delivers functionality for the healthcare professional and comfort for the patient. Conner Architecture’s systematic approach toward project definition ensures that the needs of the owner, professional and patient are all met. After years of meeting and exceeding client expectations, Conner Architecture has gained the experience and know-how to define and design environments that make healthcare a better experience for all. Recently, Conner Architecture was granted a merit award from the Association of Licensed Architects for their design of the Orthopaedic Associates medical office building located in Newburgh, Indiana.
Churches
From traditional to contemporary building requirements for churches and their extended campuses can vary greatly among denominations and individual congregations. Conner Architecture, over the years, has worked diligently to build relationships with each of our ecclesiastical clients – relationships that have led to a greater understanding of their individual organizations. Conner Architecture has the unique ability to facilitate project definition and build consensus among leadership, committees and members of the congregation. Once consensus has been achieved, Conner Architecture identifies specific needs and then, supports the church’s mission with a unique solution that carefully balances design and budget.
Educational
We believe that good educational design goes beyond the development of buildings that facilitate learning. It should create an environment that inspires learning while encouraging creativity and providing a setting where communities are established. At the same time, these environments should be durable and fiscally and environmentally responsible. Good design that supports the goals of good educators does not just make a better building. It encourages students to excel and makes for a better future.
Banks & Credit Unions
Carl J. Conner II, principal of Conner Architecture, has spent more than 20 years developing his experience in site selection, design and construction of branch banking facilities, administrative offices and operational centers. His impressive portfolio includes work for banks such as Fifth Third and Integra as well as a very innovative design for Heritage Federal Credit Union. Carl’s design for the Heritage Federal Administrative Offices earned Conner Architecture a Silver Design Award for 2009 from the Association of Licensed Architects.
Long-term Care
There is more to successful long-term care project than just creating a dignified design for its residents - much more. It’s also about Building Codes, Health Department rules, regulations and inspections. It’s about condensed, safe and coordinated construction schedules. It’s about staying on time and on budget. Conner Architecture has spent many years gaining the experience and trust needed to negotiate the approval process and to balance design with budget. We have completed numerous additions and renovations for some of the Midwest’s largest long-term care corporations.
