Newburgh Senior Center
Newburgh, Indiana
Completed in 2004

Conner Architecture assisted in the attainment of a $500,000 grant for this project by the Newburgh Town Board. In a three-year relationship with the Warrick County community, Conner Architecture presented the proposed project to many civic organizations in an effort to build support. The building was designed to be both unique in its character and to fit well in its historical context. The facility features a large clerestory that allows for natural daylight to supply the majority of the building’s lighting needs. The central space of the building is designed to seat 200 guests, but is easily subdivided by an operable wall to accommodate a variety of activities simultaneously.
