First Missionary Baptist Church – Addition

Planning Stage Underway in 2007

Completion of preliminary planning by Conner Architecture has given the First Missionary congregation and the local community a visual representation of the future addition. This is allowing them to build consensus and raise the necessary funds for construction. The planned addition includes a large gymnasium, offices, classrooms, a kitchen, a modern entrance, and an elevator to provide easy access to the second-floor sanctuary. The addition harmonizes with the existing structure, displaying a contemporary style while maintaining the traditional dignity of the current building.
